Spiral Vegetable Slicer Reviews

The spiral slicer is commomly known as a spiralizer and a vegetable garnishing machine. It is lightweight and has three major parts: the lid with an attached handle, the middle part with contains the blades, and the collection bowl. All the parts of spiral slicer are plastic except for the steel blades and part of the handle. The blade has two settings: a thin setting which looks like steel teeth and a full setting which is just a simple steel blade.

To use the slicer you need to cut your produce in half if not, it won't fit into the lid. To use the vegetable slicer, you center the produce on the slicer and attach the lid. With a firm downward pressure, using the palm of your hand, you slowly turn the handle to press the vegetables against the blade. If you use the thin setting, you will create beautiful angel hair strands that mimic angel hair pasta. If you use the thick setting, you will make beautiful vegetable ribbons that can be used as a fancy garnish or in a fun salad.

To clean the slicer, you can rinse the parts under water and use a bristle scrub brush to scrub the blade. It takes less than 5 minutes to clean the spiralizer.

Overall the spiral slicer for vegetables is efficient, easy to use, and easy to clean. I've also owned one for about 7 years, so they are durable as well. If you are a looking for a new kitchen tool to add more vegetables to your diet and make spaghetti out of zucchini, then I definitely recommend the spiral slicer.
